STALLION BREEDING SERVICE CONTRACT
This certifies
______________________________________ herein referred to as the Mare Owner,
has engaged a breeding to THE
KEO KID 4930537 AQHA for the 2009 Breeding Season at $1250.00 for the
following mare:

Horses will be referred to as Breeder: This service is engaged subject to the
following:
1.
A Booking Fee of $ 250 from the above breeding fee is payable with this contract,
and the balance of
$1000 plus all unpaid expenses will be
payable upon receipt of an invoice or when mare leaves the farm whichever is
first.
The breeding season is from February 1 to June 30.
2.
A photocopy of the registration papers (both side)
shall be sent to the Breeder with this contract. Current Coggins test (6
months), Health Papers shall
accompany the mare.
3.
Mare Owner agrees each mare offered for breeding shall be in sound
breeding condition and free from any infection or disease. Mare must be halter
broke if brought to Breeder.
4.
The Breeder agrees to diligently try to settle the above named mare and
shall have sole discretion of determining the best method of breeding such
mare. If the mare does not settle, The Breeder shall be held harmless.
5.
Live Foal Guarantee: Live foal means the foal shall stand
and nurse.
6.
Genetic Diseases: The Breeder shall be held harmless
of any horse with genetic diseases (HYPP). If the above said has an H/H foal,
the Mare Owner shall have the option of returning the double positive foal to
the Breeder in return for a rebreed the following year.
7.
A breeder’s certificate will be issued to Mare Owner after
all expenses have been paid in full and upon notification of birth of foal.
8.
It is agreed that should above named stallion die or become unfit for
service, then this contract shall become null and void and booking fee will be
refunded.
9.
It is understood that the breeding farm, its owners, employees, and
guests shall not be liable for any injury, escape, disability, or death of any
horse on its premises. Also the mare owner is not liable or responsible for any
damage, injury or death of any horse on its premises. Also the mare owner is
not liable or responsible for any damage, injury or death to the breeding farm
stallions, employees, veterinarians, or other animals in the care of the
Breeder.
10.
If semen is shipped all breeding and
other fees will be paid in advance of shipment.
a.
Breeder
must be notified prior to 8:00 AM
Central Time on the date the semen is to be shipped.
b.
Shipping Charges: First shipment-free unless buying through futurity
breeding. If any other shipments are needed charges will be $250 for collection and shipping. Mare
Owner is responsible for returning container immediately to the Breeder at the
Mare Owner’s expense. (Disposable containers do not have to be returned.)
This contract is not valid unless completed in full. When Mare Owner signs and returns the contract with booking fee the Breeder will sign and return a copy to the Mare Owner. Mail Contract to the above address.
